• Automatically collected data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring URL, and time on site, collected via standard server logs and analytics tools.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use information for the following purposes only:

• Respond to inspection, quote, and service requests
• Schedule appointments and complete the work you've contracted for
• Send you transactional updates (appointment confirmations, crew arrival times, invoice receipts)
• Send you account, service, or promotional SMS messages if and only if you have opted in (Section 3)
• Process insurance claims when you've engaged us to do so
• Improve our website, services, and customer experience
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

3. SMS / Text Messaging

Categories of messages we send

• Account / transactional: appointment confirmations, crew ETA, invoice notifications, project status updates
• Customer care: responses to questions you've initiated
• Promotional (only if opted in): seasonal offers, new service announcements, storm-season checklists

Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us and the type of messages you've consented to receive. Most customers receive fewer than 10 messages per project. Promotional opt-ins receive no more than 4 messages per month.

Message and data rates

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. DR Construction & Roofing does not charge you for any message we send.

Opting out and getting help

• Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe immediately. You will receive a confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.
• Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us directly at (754) 779-3650.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No sharing of phone numbers or SMS opt-in data

4. How We Share Information

We share your information only with parties that help us operate our business, and only to the extent necessary:

• Service providers: our CRM (GoHighLevel), SMS gateway, instant-estimate platform (BidHawk), email delivery, hosting, and analytics. These providers are contractually obligated to use your data only on our behalf.
• Insurance carriers and adjusters: when you've engaged us to assist with a claim and only with your authorization.
• Permitting and inspection authorities: as required to pull permits and pass inspections for work on your property.
• Legal compliance: when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your contact information with marketing partners, lead aggregators, or affiliate networks.

5. Data Retention

We retain customer records for as long as needed to provide ongoing service, fulfill warranty obligations, comply with Florida contractor record-keeping requirements, and resolve disputes. Marketing consent records are retained as required by SMS regulations. You may request deletion at any time (Section 8).

6. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS), access controls on our CRM, and vendor agreements that require equivalent protections. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

• Strictly necessary: remembering your cookie consent choice, supporting form submissions, and protecting against bot abuse. These cannot be disabled.
• Functional: remembering preferences such as the BidHawk instant-estimate widget state and the chat widget session.
• Analytics: measuring traffic sources, page popularity, and user flow so we can improve the site. We use first-party server logs and standard analytics; we do not deploy third-party advertising trackers.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may break some site features (instant estimate, chat, form submissions). We do not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals at this time, because we do not engage in cross-site behavioral advertising.

9. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If we learn we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
