These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the DR Construction & Roofing website, your communications with us (including phone, email, SMS, and chat), and any services you contract with DR Construction & Roofing Inc ("DR Construction," "we," "us," "our"). By using this site, contacting us, or engaging our services, you accept these Terms.

1. Our Services

DR Construction & Roofing provides residential and commercial roofing services in South Florida, including roof inspections, repairs, replacements, tile/shingle/metal/flat roofing, fascia repair, roof coating, instant estimates, and storm damage / insurance claim assistance. All work is performed under Florida state contractor licenses CGC 1507284 and CCC 1328855. View license records.

2. Estimates and Contracts

• Online quotes generated through our instant-estimate tool (BidHawk) are non-binding preliminary estimates based on satellite imagery. A final price is provided only after an in-person inspection.
• Written contracts are required before any work begins. Verbal estimates are not binding.
• Florida law gives residential customers a 3-day right of rescission on home-improvement contracts solicited at your home. Commercial contracts are not subject to this provision.
• Change orders for work not in the original contract require written approval before they are performed.

Deposit and payment schedule

A deposit is required to schedule your project and secure materials. The deposit amount and remaining payment schedule are itemized in your written contract before any work begins. Typical structure:

• Deposit at contract signing — reserves your project on the schedule and funds material procurement.
• Progress payment at material delivery — due when materials arrive on site, before tear-off begins.
• Balance at completion — due after final inspection and your walk-through approval.

Specific deposit amounts vary by project size and material. They are quoted in writing during your free estimate. We do not collect cash deposits at the door, and we do not begin work without a signed contract. Florida law caps initial home-improvement deposits at 10% of the contract price for projects under $25,000 unless otherwise itemized; we comply with this in every residential contract.

3. Acceptable Use of This Website

When using this website, you agree not to:

• Submit false information, including fake names, addresses, or phone numbers
• Submit phone numbers you do not own or are not authorized to use
• Use the site to send spam, harvest contact information, or run automated bots
• Reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or attempt to disrupt our hosting
• Impersonate another person or business
• Use our content (photos, copy, license records) on a competing website without permission

4. SMS / Text Messaging Terms

• Message frequency varies based on your interactions and the message types you've consented to receive.
• Standard message and data rates may apply. DR Construction & Roofing does not charge for messages.
• Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages.
• Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or call us at (754) 779-3650.
• Carrier disclaimer: mobile carriers (T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, etc.) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• No sharing: we do not sell or share your phone number or SMS opt-in consent with any third party for marketing purposes.

5. Workmanship and Material Warranties

Workmanship warranties are documented in your signed work contract and vary by service. Material warranties are issued by the manufacturer (GAF, Owens Corning, Soprema, etc.) and pass through to you as the property owner. Warranty claims must be submitted in writing. Damage caused by acts of God, third-party modifications, or owner neglect is excluded.

6. Disclaimers

This website and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Photos depict prior projects and are not a guarantee of identical outcomes on your property. Instant-estimate pricing is preliminary; actual cost is determined only after in-person inspection. Information about other contractors, certifications, or industry practices on this site is provided for context and is believed accurate but not guaranteed.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Florida law, DR Construction & Roofing Inc is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this website or our services. Our maximum aggregate liability for any claim related to a contracted service is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or violations of Florida contractor licensing law.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold DR Construction & Roofing harmless from any claim arising out of your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the website, your submission of false information, or your authorization for us to perform work on a property you do not own or are not authorized to modify.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — copy, photography of completed projects, logos, and design — is the property of DR Construction & Roofing Inc or used under license. You may share links to our pages. You may not copy our copy, project photos, or layout for use on a competing website. Our DBPR license screenshots are public-record documents from MyFloridaLicense.com; the underlying records belong to the State of Florida.

10. Third-Party Services

This site uses third-party services for forms, instant estimates, chat, accessibility, hosting, and SMS delivery. These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content, performance, or data practices, but we choose vendors that meet appropriate security and privacy standards.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Broward County, Florida. You and we each waive any right to a jury trial. Either party may pursue small-claims relief in any competent court.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as our services or applicable law change. We will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of this website or our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
